Synopsis... A large area of high pressure north of the marine area will slowly settle southward across the northeastern Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday. A strong offshore flow will weaken considerably overnight as the high pressure system moves over the area. High pressure and a general light wind flow will then continue through late Thursday...but a strong northerly wind flow will resume late in the week behind yet another cold front that is expected to move south across the marine area Thursday night or early Friday.

Small Craft Advisory in effect until midnight CST tonight

Rest Of Tonight... North winds around 20 knots becoming northeast and decreasing to around 15 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet.
Wednesday... Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots early becoming variable less than 10 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 to 3 feet.
Wednesday Night... Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 feet.
Thursday... Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.
Thursday Night... Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 20 to 25 knots. Seas building to 3 to 5 feet.
Friday... North winds 20 to 25 knots becoming northeast around 20 knots. Seas building to 4 to 6 feet.
Friday Night... Northeast winds around 20 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet.
Saturday... Northeast winds 20 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon and evening...then increasing to 15 to 20 knots after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
Sunday... Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots becoming east 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
