... Frost advisory in effect from 3 am to 9 am PST Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a frost
advisory... which is in effect from 3 am to 9 am PST Sunday.

The advisory is mainly for areas east of Highway 99 and away from
metropolitan areas. Temperatures may drop to freezing by 3 am and
not warm up until after 8 am Sunday morning. Temperatures in the
upper 20s are possible in the coldest locations toward Sunday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A frost advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor
plants may be killed if left uncovered. Cold sensitive fruits and
trees such as apricots... pears... grapes and figs should be
protected from cold temperatures tonight.
