East to northeast winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts to 55 mph will
continue through midday. The strongest winds are expected through
and below passes and canyons.

Winds will likely diminish below advisory criteria this
afternoon. However... the offshore winds will strengthen tonight
and additional wind advisories may be needed for the area.

expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...
