... Above normal surf this weekend...

Some of the energy from the large northwest swell will refract
around Point Conception and into the eastern Santa Barbara
Channel this weekend.

The swell energy will produce above normal surf of 4 to 6 feet
with Max sets to 8 feet on west facing beaches over the weekend.
There will be a high risk of rip currents through the weekend.
